Hello Everyone,
So there may have been some news you have missed on movies and who is soon to be up and flying around and maybe in a interesting video. So first we will start off with the movies:
If you somehow missed Notch's 'leak' on twitter way back in Feburary, Warner Bros. and Mojang have been discussing the possibility of a Minecraft movie, which is now comfirmed. As you all know, Minecraft is a open-world sandbox game with millions of downloads across the PC, Xbox360, Pocket Edition, and the newly added PS3 versions, partly-due to the worldwide community found on Youtube with hundreds, or possibly thousands, making a living while playing this game through the help of ad revenue.
This movie will be directed by Roy Lee, the director of the Lego Movie, and will be live-action.
Though I, personally, am not a fan of the live-action concept for this movie, I am very excited for this movie for I am a fan of both the Lego Movie, which has raked in over $280.5 million worlwide, and Minecraft itself.
No word as of yet as far as release dates, plot and title for this movie, but the chances of the title being The MInecraft Movie is pretty high.
Warner Bros. however is not the only one to have new that will rile up fans. Disney's Pixar Animation Studios have recently announced sequels for The Incredibles and Cars 2, which will be called, The Incredibles 2 and Cars 3 respectively at the Disney Investor's Meeting. If you recall, The Incredibles is a movie from 2004, about a family of superheros living a 'normal' life in the regular world, while Cars is a story about a racecar, and Cars 2 was about the racecar's best friend, which is a tow-truck, involvement with car spies.
I am a fan of both The Incredibles and Cars and Cars 2, but I am surprised with them pulling a Cars 3 movie in the first place, as many Pixar fans, would not rate Cars or Cars 2 as high as PIxar makes both movies seem to be.
Like the upcoming Warner Bros.'s Minecraft movie, no word on either plot or release dates.
Finally on the movie front, The Little Mermaid will be getting a live-action adaptation. This project will be directed by Sofia Coppola, director of The Godfather and The Outsiders, and Caroline Thompson, writer for Edward Scissorhands, will be involved on in the scriptwriting. This upcoming adaptation is said to be more true the orginal, written by Hans Christian Andersen, than the Disney adaptation.
'However, I think it would be pretty interesting to see this movie made into a musical.
Like the other movies, it is yet to have a release date.
Philippines seems to be the destination for travel this year.
On April 29, 2014, Ceaser Millan, the creator of Dog Whisperer, will be making an appearance in Eastwood City, Manilla, Philippines. Events includes meet and greets and a live show on his training methods.
But he will not be the only celebrity that will be in the Philippines.
Youtube celebrity, Adam Dalhberg, also known as SkyDoesMinecraft, have recently announced on his offcial Facebook page, that he will be doing meet and greets in the Philippines, and Singapore. No word yet on when or where he will be meeting the Sky Army Recruits.
I may have a chance to meet him this summer, but there is still a chance that I won't be doing any sort of traveling this summer.
But Sky is not only going to the Phillipines and Singapore.
In the latest Lady Gaga video, a wild SkyDoesMinecraft appears, types in /gamemode ARTPOP in some sort of Minecraft clone, and brings back Michael Jackson, Ghandi, Jesus, and another person that I didn't see. When I saw this post, I freaked out and was fan girling for a while. I wonder why Sky was chosen, though is it possible because of the factor that he is the most subscribed youtuber when in comes to minecraft content, followed by CaptainSparklez, and BlueXephos/Yogscast.
